Butterflies seemed to have a special bond with Jordyn. We have a picture of Jordyn In Kentucky with a Tiger Swallowtail that had landed on her shoulder.  Butterflies are very special to me now.

I would like to take this time to let you know a little bit about Jordyn.  Jordyn was 4 years old and was the sweetest child. She did have an attitude but what kid doesn't. Her little sister has already shown signs of her attitude, but that's ok. She absolutely loved both of her sistesr. She wanted to be just like Ashlee. If Ashlee didn't eat something then most of the time Jordyn wouldn't either. I remember trying to get her to eat and she would say is Ashwee going to eat it too. She had a hard time at first saying Ashlee's name so it came out Ashwee. When she finally learned how to say Ashlee, Ashlee didn't like it. She wanted to be Jordyn's Ashwee. She always will be.

Jordyn knew no stranger. She would tell people that she didn't even know that they looked pretty today or that they had a nice baby.  She was just a kind natured little girl. She loved going to watch her daddy and Uncle drive race cars. She went a lot with her Mamaw and Papaw to watch races. She also loved butterflies, horses, fishing with mom, dad and sissy. She loved gardening with her dad and making cookies with mommmy. She was just learning to spell and I have many drawings with her name and my name spelled MOMMMY.

In June I started a new job that allowed me to take her and her baby sis with me to work. I worked in a health club in the daycare portion. She was looking forward to starting preschool and that was like schoo to herl. We would make crafts together and draw and practice writing. We had a Finding Nemo week and we made that characters from the movie out of pipe cleaners. She made the whale..it's purple and beautiful. I am glad that I still have that.

When I was pregnant with her little sis Kelsey we were trying to decide on a name. We had already picked out the first name. We just needed to agree on the middle name. I was thinking of my mothers middle name. Jordyn Came to me and said how about Kristy Reanne. I gave it some thought and said well i'm not crazy about Kristy but I do like Reanne. Neither of us were going to budge on the middle names that we had picked so Kelsey ended up with two middle names. It will be special to Kelsey to know that she was named after her late grandmother and her sister picked her other middle name.

Our Family Vacations

Jordyn loved going on our family Vacation. Every year we would go to Missiouri and spend a week in a cabin on the lake. OH, she loved  it. We got her to go on the tube behind the boat with Mamaw and Papaw. She thought she was something. Heck so did I. She loved swimming in the pool that was next to the cabin where we stayed. It's not the same there without her.

The Entuckians.....

We have family that live in Kentucky. She couldn't quite say Kentuckians right so it came out entuckians. How cute is that??  She loved all of her Entuckian cousins and her cousin Dillon.

She also love her Papaw Larry and Mamaw Dorothy very much. They would come to visit and it would never fail. Papaw would throw a dollar on the floor every time and wait to watch Jordyn find it. Sometimes she would roll on the floor and roll right over it and wouldn't know it was there. I think they had a hand in spoiling her. There was a lot of stuffed animals given to the kids.....Jordyn would give her baby sister her toys. She wasn't selfish at all. She loved her stuffed horse that Papaw Larry and Mamaw Dorothy gave her. Ashlee now has the horse and said that she would keep it always.  Jordyn had a big bouncing horse(Disney Princess) she named it Star and her daddy and I got her a smaller horse that she could sit on. Her name was Sparkles. I think most of her dolls were names Kallie at one time. Jordyn Loved her cartoons. Most kids do. She loved Dora, Blues Clues and Land Before Time movies.  Ice age and Shrek were also on her list of favs. Shrek took some getting used to. She didn't like it at first. The Ogre scared her.
